Our work in Central Asia is expanding and developing in exciting ways; we have teams serving with active ministry projects in three countries in the region. We are developing our focus and vision for these nations, and we are now benefiting from close relationships with local ministries and churches. Our ministry covers four broad areas:
Ministry Training – We want to see local believers equipped to share the gospel in their own countries as well as in other nations. We partner with a ministry training programme which is actively training people for ministry in three Central Asian countries.
Disciple Making and Church Planting – We want to see people brought to spiritual maturity and new churches brought into existence in some of the least reached places in Central Asia. This often includes coordinating relief and development projects, medical ministries, and business related projects which are essential dimensions of the work of the church.
Coffee Businesses and Training – Training ministry leaders in various aspects of the coffee industry has become an effective way of equipping participants with the skills needed to support themselves in ministry, through launching their own businesses. We have effectively given coffee training to a number of businesses and individuals in the region and we are developing our own business projects as well.
Photography and the Creative Arts – We run a photography ministry that seeks to use the discipline to build friendships with creatives in Central Asia. Our team plans to teach these skills to the students on our ministry training programmes, so that they have a way of supporting themselves in ministry in the future.
