Centre for the Nations

A house of prayer, an international training base, a residential and community centre... all of these terms, and more, could be used to describe our Centre for the Nations. Located in Llanelli, South Wales, a five minute walk from the beautiful Millennium Coastal Path, it is an inspiring place to visit.

Residential Facilities

Are you looking for a place to take a church, student or youth groups? Why not consider hiring the World Horizons Centre for the Nations? It is an ideal place to bring groups of any age, from the most adventurous to those who simply want to take time out to be refreshed. Our heart is to find ways to support you and your group as you require. We have people who can share their inspiring stories of serving in mission in various nations and are happy to run creative prayer and worship sessions.

House of Prayer

Prayer is foundational to all we do at World Horizons. Every day, people and places are being prayed for at our Centre for the Nations. Come and join us for our Thursday prayer mornings or during our annual prayer month in January. We also have a prayer room which can be booked by visiting groups.

Community Centre

Our Centre for the Nations is regularly used by local community groups as well as those from further afield. If you would like to hire our centre for a community project please contact us.

Office-Based Support

A number of our dedicated teams base themselves at our Centre for the Nations. For example, our Member Care team supports our field workers as they live and minister all over the world, often in challenging circumstances. We also house the administrative offices of our Short-Term Placements team and Korean mission training programme.

Business as Mission

In recent years, we have seen that mission practices have changed, and now many individuals are establishing businesses as a way to communicate God’s love and to help see communities transformed. We host the administrative offices of an international Development Training company, a youth programme that incorporates outdoor activities, and an international discipleship course for the Muslim world.
