Our Centre for the Nations is a base for training, sending and supporting people on mission. It’s where our trainees undertake their cross-cultural training, youth groups and camps run their adventurous activities, and visiting mission workers share their exciting stories from around the world!
All those joining the UK team will be involved in our regular times of prayer and worship as well as have opportunities to go on short overseas placements and trips. In addition to our overseas ministries, we also serve the UK church and our local area through community projects and youth camps.
An important part of our work in the UK is promotions and recruitment, encouraging others to get involved with our movement. We also keep our supporters informed about up-to-date opportunities and worldwide prayer needs.
Every member of World Horizons is responsible for raising their own support unless otherwise stated. The majority of our opportunities can be undertaken on a full or part-time basis. This enables staff to work locally part-time where necessary to fund their ministry.
