World Horizons has a training base in São Paulo state, where mission workers are equipped to share the Good News with people groups who have yet to hear the gospel. Over fifty Brazilian World Horizons mission workers are currently serving around the world.

We offer two training programmes:

Long-term Mission Preparation
This programme lasts fifteen months and includes teaching, practical placements in Paraguay and Guyana, as well as practical work supporting churches.

Pass to Macedonia
A four month training programme for people who have some theological education and also have an adequate level of spoken and written English. Our aim is to equip mission volunteers to work alongside our ministry teams serving around the world. People of any nationality are welcome to apply. If you are not a Portuguese speaker a minimum of six months learning Portuguese is required. We look forward to forming multicultural teams and giving our candidates a real taste of what it means to work in different cultures.
