We provide practical training and build teams in established locations or explore new places together. We show people how to build a support base to live and work sustainably so that they can follow God’s calling.
World Horizons UK
Local World Horizons teams are based in Llanelli and Luton, and we also have individual members and associates living in communities across the UK. Together, they form our wider UK team—people living out their faith in everyday settings, including those serving in UK‑based roles that support and strengthen international work.
International prayer is also a strong focus, uniting the team in regular, intentional prayer for our global partners and communities, and connecting us with the wider global movement we belong to.
Our local teams create space to share faith naturally, support one another, and stay accountable. We aim to build creative, Christ‑centred communities shaped by rhythms of prayer and worship, and to be a positive influence in the places we call home.
The best way to get a real sense of what we do is to come and see it in person. You’re very welcome to visit a team or join one of our prayer and worship gatherings.
Everyone in World Horizons raises their own support, whether through a network of supporters or income from work.

World Horizons – International Teams
World Horizons teams are working in Asia Minor, Central Africa, Central Asia, East Asia, Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, South America, South Asia, South East Asia, East Africa and West Africa.
Some people feel a strong calling to a specific place or type of work before they even apply to join an international team. Others simply want to serve in a cross‑cultural setting and share their faith, and they explore the options as they go. Wherever you’re at, we’d love to talk with you about where our teams are based and what we’re involved in.
